One of the leading construction firms based on New York City is seeking to hire a Structural Engineer (Construction Management), permanent position. Salary $42.50 to $47.50

Per hour and benefits (Health, Dental, Disability and 401K)

Job responsibilities:

1) Performing a structural analysis and/or stability review of existing/new structures for proposed

construction loading and temporary conditions.

2) Perform inspection of contractor’s work to ensure construction activities are in accordance with

plans, specifications, and contractual requirements.

2) Perform and/or observe on-site material testing.

3) Read and comprehend contract documents (i.e. plans, specifications, shop drawings).

4) Provide thorough inspection reports and maintain detailed records of work performed.

5) Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1) BS in Civil Engineering..

2) Minimum 5 years of transit or rail experience with civil or structural construction management.
3) Excellent oral and written communication skills.
4) Excellent organizational skills.
