Description (as client):

Serve as the CLIN 4/7.2.4 CCF Project manager and provide direction, leadership and technical services for the NAWC WD Information Technology/Information Management Division, working with various NAWC WD clients to create and maintain the data services required to meet customers’ needs.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Oversees CCF support in the area of Backups, Unix/Linux, Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 Systems Administration, Telco billing and invoicing, Desktop support, VTC support and NMCI ACTR support.
  • Monitors CCF support performance and troubleshoots alerts from DoD, commercial, open source and local monitoring tools.
  • Performs system failure analysis and recovery; insures the consistency and integrity of file systems.
  • Hires replacement support staff and resolves the day-to-day work requirements for up to 30 employees.
  • Performs technical review of system architecture for gap analysis and future needs recommendations to the customer.
  • Reports status and sets project milestones to meet ever evolving client PC and server solution needs.

 

Qualifications

Position requires BS degree, from an accredited engineering school, in computer science, engineering, management with fifteen (15) years of experience in computer systems project or program management. Experience in managing data center operations involving a workforce of 20+ employees is required. Must have experience in virtual environments and DoD IA processes and procedures and be able to prioritize tasks and deliver systems solutions on time and on budget. Must be willing to learn new processes, programs, policies and technologies. Baseline DoDI 8570.01M IA Certifications required within 6 months of employment. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required.

  • Normal hours are Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm, non-flex Fridays 7:00am to 4:00pm
  • Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines
  • Regular attendance is necessary and required
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with clients, supervisors and co-workers
  • Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to the employee or others
  • Must be able to support and work in a proactive team environment
  • Must hold the safety of yourself and those around you as the number one priority in the workplace
  • Current driver’s license, car registration and auto insurance required
  • Completion of required certifications required within six (6) months of hire date
  • U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain an interim and a permanent U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance required
  • Must be able to possess a Government CAC Card
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada.
